My favorite Two-Factor Authentication app Authy updated with a new design and Touch ID Support for iOS 8.

Let’s take a look at it:

Authy is the best Google Authenticator alternative you will find on the AppStore, It has a beautiful design, support for multiple devices, apps on every platform and even a WordPress Plugin that I personally use here on News47ell.

Today the app got updated to Version 16.0, and with this update the guys at Authy brought us a brand new design that according to them it took them 6 month to come up with it.

First, the sidebar is gone. We spend almost 6 months looking for the best way to replace it and we think we found the perfect solution. A new quick access dock, with 4 quick access accounts is now always at the bottom.

Here’s a quick comparison between the old and new design:

You can easily organize and rearrange your accounts by tapping and holding on each one of them and move them to the top for quick access.

With iOS 8 Apple allowed developers to take advantage on Touch ID, and just like I mentioned in my previous 1Password Review how the guys at AgileBits took advantage of this and allowed users to unlock the master password using Touch ID, now on Authy you can do the same thing.

Here you go guys, a brand new design and a Touch ID Support, Nothing fancy to see here, No Extension support to copy Authentication code from Safari or anything like that.

Honestly I’m just happy that the app works perfectly and that its much better than Google Authenticator app.
