The first one was yesterday around 2:04am PST, and according to Feedly the criminals were extorting money from them to stop the attack:
Criminals are attacking feedly with a distributed denial of service attack (DDoS).
The attacker is trying to extort us money to make it stop. We refused to give in and are working with our network providers to mitigate the attack as best as we can.
Around 15:07pm PST, Feedly was able to stop the DDoS attack.
And again today Feedly said that there’s another round of DDoS attack:
2:04am PST: We are currently being targeted by a second DDoS attack and are working with our service providers to mitigate the issue.
Feedly said that users data are safe and that we will be able to re-access our Feedly as soon as the attack is neutralized.
Meanwhile the people at Evernote had their own share of a DDoS attack couple days ago too.
So yeah, DDoS attacks are trending this week i guess.
