Apple has released iOS 8.0.1 with lots of bug fixes for HealthKit, 3rd party keyboard and Reachability, but Apple forgot to mention One More Thing…
Quickly after releasing iOS 8.0.1, iPhone users started posting on Twitter about what it seems to be a major problem with both Touch ID and Cellular Services.
People are saying that both of these things are broken, So it’s obvious that you shouldn’t update to iOS 8.0.1
Since I don’t own an iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus then here’s Jason Snell post regarding this problem.
And here’s some Tweets:
PSA: Don't install iOS 8.0.1. Cellular service is broken, as is Touch ID. Sort of bricks the phone.
