I was in the hunt for a Markdown app for my MacBook running Snow Leopard.

But i failed to find something i wanted to work with, so i decided to search online, and i found Markable, A remarkable online markdown editor.

Markable is a Markdown online editor that works perfectly inside your web browser.

All you need to get started is an email address, you sign up and you are good to go.

The first thing you will see, is a minimal typing area, split in half, The first one on the left is were you type, and the right area is a preview of what you wrote and how it will appear online.

When it comes to options, Markable have only view, but they are good, and make your typing experiance easier.

Let’s start with the Files:

From there you can create a new file, open an old one save/rename/delete, and these are the baisc features that built into any other text editor.

You can also upload an HTML file, Import from Evernote and Dropbox, if you have a markdown file save on the cloud and you want to edit, and also a print option.

View:

Here you can change the view of the editor to make it yours, for example you can highlite currnt line, and show line number, and for people who like to type in the dark (Like i do with all my posts) you can switch the writing area theme to dark.

Export:

Here is where you export masterpiece and share it with the world.

You can choose between downloading your text as Markdown file or HTML, save to Dropbox, Evernote, or Share it to tumblr.
